Rising CO₂ levels

Ice core data shows the rise and fall of atmospheric CO2 concentrations prior to 1950. NASA reports that the rise in CO2 since 1950 shows a “remarkably constant relationship with fossil-fuel burning”. In other words, the more fossil fuels that are burned, the higher the CO2.
