Southern saltmarsh mosquito

Southern saltmarsh mosquitoes, an unwanted immigrant from Australia, are a carrier of Ross River virus. These mosquitoes have been the target of a Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) Biosecurity New Zealand eradication programme.
