Mānuka trees and regenerating bush

A stand of old mānuka trees (Leptospermum scoparium) at Orokonui Ecosanctuary with regenerating bush and trees underneath. Mānuka is an angiosperm – all the forms of this species have white or pink flowers.

Mānuka is part of the myrtle family, Myrtaceae.
