Crabeater seal teeth

Crabeater seals (Lobodon carcinophaga) teeth.

Crabeater seals (Lobodon carcinophaga) have specially adapted teeth. The interlocking teeth act as a sieve, allowing them to filter krill from the water. Krill are a common type of zooplankton.
