Planning for Matariki – free PLD webinar

Join Greta and picture book expert, Associate Professor Nicola Daly in our free online professional learning session Picturebooks for Matariki. Greta and Nicola will use a selection of picture books to explore Matariki and the connected science concepts.

Freshwater in Aotearoa

Science and mātauranga combine to inform the Ministry for the Environment and Stats NZ’s Our freshwater 2023. The report considers freshwater connections and whakapapa, and the pressures our actions place on freshwater systems. This activity features an interactive storymap, which explores these concepts from the perspective of a migrating tuna.

Planning pathways using freshwater resources

This interactive groups Hub resources into key science and mātauranga Māori concepts.
