An adult pirate bug (Orius vicinus) feeding on a psyllid nymph. Pirate bugs predate on a large variety of prey, including thrips, aphids, whiteflies, mites (including spider mites), mealybugs, psyllids and the eggs of larger insects such as butterflies and moths.
