The left-hand map shows the location of Māui dolphin ( Cephalorhynchus hectori maui ) and also the set net ban area in the North Island. The right-hand map shows the areas around the South Island where Hector’s dolphin ( Cephalorhynchus hectori ) could be found in 2012.
