Transcript

Dr Vicky Webb (NIWA) NIWA stands for National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research. We are a research organisation and NIWA does a whole pile of stuff, all to do with water and atmosphere. So we have a lot of people who look at climate and the ozone hole. People who do work with fisheries to see how many fish are actually left in the sea, to help set the quota for the quota management of fishing. We have people who do agriculture. Lots of people who do collecting of organisms and identification, and they put them in bottles. Then we have our group. We do work looking for useful things that you can get from organisms from the sea.
